HELP stop the buzzing

Hi

So I’ve finally done it and connected by Rotel RC1070/RB1080 pre/power amp combo to my MA RS1s and to the TV via a SCART audio out cable

The combo sounds good but I can hear a buzzing sound no matter what source is selected

How can I get rid of the buzzing sound?

I've checked it and it still buzzes through the speakers even when CD is selected for example

Yes, but if the scart is faulty, it can sometimes affect the whole system

If the buzz stops when you disconnect the scart you may have a ground loop. If so, what happens if the scart is connected but the "antenna" signal is unplugged in the tv?

Just a quick update

It was the SCART at fault - I'll just take it back and get another one
