Help! Recommendation Appreciated

Hi,

We are just about to buy a Samsung Frame TV and are looking for a recommendation as to the best possible sound system to go with it BUT WITHOUT CLUTERING THE TV’s simplicity and beauty. We are happy to place quite large speakers / amps discretely to the side but not directly next to the TV (so for example no sound bars!!).

It needs to be great for BOTH watching movies AND playing music.

I know this is asking a lot but recommendations greatly appreciated. Budget is around £1000 and the room is quite large.

Apart from the TV what other AV equipment do you have?

Are you looking for just stereo or complete surround sound? If the latter, do you want 5 or 7 surround channels? Do you want overhead speakers?
