help pairing balanced speakers with marrantz nr1601 -MA radius or vector?

Hi!

Chosen amp already, marrantz nr1601, based on space available & decent reviews.. reading through posts here, I understand its important to 'balance' kit, right? e.g. don't go for really expensive speakers then cheap amp! So, looking for some advice matching speakers to this amp please 🙂)

Seen in this forum ppl recommending Monitor Audio with this amp. But was wondering- would the Radius 5.1 be overkill compared to the vector? Big price diff too- £1250 vs £600!

Any advice /opinions much appreciated! Will be my first time not using just tv speakers 😛

do you wish to enjoy good quality stereo music from your speakers? or are you planning to use them mostly for movies?

hi- movies are the big priority! 🙂 and preference also for clarity & quality rather than impact, want to be at least a bit sensitive to nearby neighbours 😉

...hence why erring away from kef's (3005se), as most reviews seem to point that they're more about the impact than pulling out the little details.
