Help! - Marantz M-CR610 or Denon RCD-N8???

Hi all! I'm looking to replace my 10 year old Sony Hi-fi with one of the two mentioned above. My question is, which is the best out of the two? Another question is, which speakers would suit the them? And finally, speaker cables. How do I hook them up? Single Wire or Bi-Wire? What is the difference? What plugs do I need? Is it end to end or speaker/amp end only? Many thanks in advance! I'm a complete novice who loves music and wants a good quality setup but doesn't know a thing about it!!! Thanks again!!

If it were me, I would choose the Marantz out of the two.

Single wire.

I would be looking at speakers from Dali (Zensor 1s or 3s) , Q Acoustics (2020i), Boston Acoustics (A25s or A26s*) or similar.

*Boston Acoustics A26s would be my personal pick of the two due to their edge (over the A25s) in efficiency and a slightly fuller bass.
