Help for my uncle, please.

Hello All.

Not really my area this, so,

My uncle is fairly old and has decided to take out his old turntable and amplifier from about 20 years ago.

However he says the speakers are too large, and is looking for some that can be standmounted if necessary, and not, if not necessary. He does not play loud and great steaming bass is not required, and quite frankly, quality, in as smaller enclosue as possible is what is required here. Money is not an issue at all.

I'll pass on any suggestions. And probably go and get them for him as well.

whats the amp? maybe proac studio 110, or for more cash, proac d1? or monitor audio pl100?

Yeah sorry I should have specified the amp.

It is a Quad, or at least a very decent amp albiet a very old one. I'm 99% sure it's Quad.
