I have KEF3005SE's and on the verge of pairing then with an onkyo 606(still undecided about that). The problem is that i'm now confused about which speaker cables to buy. I've been getting conflicting advice from the hifi stores i've visited. Going by the ratings in the magazine I was thinking about the QED silver anniversary XT for the fronts with the silver micros for the rears. Is this okay or should I be using something regular like the chord carnival for the above combination of equipment? I can afford to get the XT for the fronts. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks

Personally, I'd go QED Silver Anniversary all round. However, I realise this is pretty expensive for the rears, so QED Silver Micro is good for them. I use the Silver Anniversary up front and Silver Micro for rears and it sounds great on my B&W setup.

professorhat - Thanks. That's one thing off my list. Now I need someone to convince me that I should definitely go for the onkyo 606.
