Help - B&W 685 speaker package review in current magazine!

I'm just about to order this package but wanted to check whether the ASW608 would be suitable for a 5 x 5m room or whether I should pay the extra £100 for the larger ASW610 sub. The review in this month's magazine says the 608 is a fine sub but I'm wondering if it will be suitable for my room size. Thanks

Haven't tested either of the bigger subs, but the 608 didn't lack for power in our main testing room, which is rather larger than yours and probably rarther more damped, too.

The 608 will be fine for you.

Is that the ASBO608 or the ASBO610?

Further to my original answer, I would of course urge you to have a listen to the B&W system before you buy. A good B&W dealer should be able to demonstrate the two subs in the context of the system.

I use the 685s for my fronts and am very happy with them indeed.
