CanLanta 2016 premiered May 21st. The first regional hi-end headphone and enthusiast meet held in Atlanta was a huge success as vendors and attendees rekindled old acquaintenances, made new friends, and enjoyed listening to some sweet cans and homemade rigs.

ECP Audio's Doug Savitsky was a crowd favorite with his hand-made amps and pre-amps. Chan Ming Tat of E-MU Systems flew in from Singapore to demonstrate custom wooden outer headphone cups made of ebony, teak, maple, walnut and rosewood which enhance one's listening pleasure and look gorgeous.

Offering a slighly different take was local enthusiast Chuck Bruce. Chuck combines his passion for vinyl driven by a 300 B tube amp while listening with the latest Audeze and Stax headphones.

For a complete pictorial review and accompanying video shot by keynote speaker Tyll Hertsens, go to www.innerfidelity.com. Enthusiast reviews and pix can be found on head-fi.org, head-case.org, and superbestaudiofriends.org.

What do you reckon Spiny?

is it time to start singing the song?

Didn't bother. I now just assume any post by a newcomer promoting something is spam, and if the people running the site can't really be posteriored, why should I? And anyway, promoting an event such as this is arguably not as offensive as those purporting to come from interested individuals, especially when the promotion is as upfront and obvious as this.
