headphone extension cable

my Sennheiser 595's cable is just not quite long enough between my hifi and couch. Has anybody seen a decent quality cable around that I can use as an extension?

1 metre will probably be enough

If you search for headphone "extension cable" on Google, you'll find loads, such as this at Amazon. Not sure what the quality is like.

You could also try www.sennheiserspares.com (not sure if they are connected (doh!) to Sennheiser).

That's what I use too. Apparently, Grado reckon you can use 3 of them linked without any degredation in sound quality. Overkill for your needs, but nice to know if you have a stereo downstairs, but want to listen to music in bed.

Went for the Grado extension and it's doing a great job.

Only problem is that now I'm questioning how good my Sennheiser 570's are in relation to a new set of cans.

Think I paid about £70 for these, probably about 8 years ago.

What is the current comparable model and will I notice a lot of difference going to a high end pair of phones.

Was also tempted by the Project Headbox headphone amp connected directly to my Cyrus 6S. Anybody connected one of these to a Cyrus, and if so, what interconnect should I go for....
