headphone 1/4 inch to 3.5mm plug adaptors

Just got one from Maplin and it doesn't work in the left channel, can anyone recommend a good quality one?

hello mr wazoo,try jiggling it about and maybe push the lead towards the plug, sometimes a bit of jiggery pokery can do the trick.if there is no problem with the headphones there shouldn't be one with the adaptor and they can be a tight fit,if that fails take it back to maplins,i know they are not dear but it's your money.sennheiser are good for adaptors.hope this helps,gregory.

Sennheiser only seem to do them the other way, small to big.

you could try grado,if your in london hi-fi care have a load of different makes and sizes or try any of the dj shops that are on the net.i dont think you will get an improvement in sound just a better connection,i might have a couple knocking about i will have a hunt around and let you know.
