As far as I am aware, no one here, even the most 'cable fanatics' have ever claimed night & day differences between digital cables. I would ask myself some questions - unless this is your dog-fight wind up thread.

But ,I now know I have a load of duff cables from different manufactures, bought at separate times , what are the chances of that happening?

Yes, you are unlucky. All cables come with a warranty. If warranty is still valid, simply exchange them and see if you can still the difference.

All my old cables are over a year old . But I'm sorted now with the new ones !

Just waitng for a the new 4k Philips telly as I like the ambilight feature.

95% happy with the current telly as it has some motion issues .

I know your case is closed, but

It's worth contacting the manufacturer or the retailer. HDMI cables shouldn't fail so quickly. I'm sure Chord will be more than happy to send you a replacement cable free of charge. Same with others as well. All it takes is a phone call.

Passed the cables on to the in laws.

The chord is is the blu ray

the Cambrdge Aduio cable in the Roku i got them with Sky Now.

THe Audusey Quest? is in the a mates play sation.

Av amp and sky conected with the my magic cheaper cables .

Their telly is bit old , but they will have my Phillips soon!

i think alot of the people on here have plasma and dont suffer as much problems as lcd.iv always had lcd which we both no has its issues and i think a good hdmi can help ie black colour and motion
