Does anyone know of a right angled HDMI lead, or adaptor. To take the cable to a 90 degree angle (laterally to the port), like a scart lead.

What, like this, you mean?

Thanks Andrew, but I was looking for that, but on the other axis, if that makes any sense? The HDMI sockets on the back of my Bravia are orientated so its length is vertical. I was looking for something to feed by cable downwards, so it doesn't get crimped against my wall. The product you suggested would send my cable sideways, which as with the one I tried before sends the cable protruding from the side of my telly. Cheers anyway.

In which case I think you're probably scuppered.

(Adopts That's Life voice) Unless, of course, anyone knows better

Perhaps this is where a cheaper and more flexible HDMI cable would have the upper hand.

Maybe you could have a look here: http://ukhdmi.com/hdmi-cables.php andhttp://ukhdmi.com/hdmi-adapter.phpSomebody on this forum recommended this supplier. At least with an adapter the tv should be closer to the wallIt's also cheaper than the one suggested before.

Anyone know anything about these cables from ukhdmi, they site claims that are made by the same company the make the monster cables ?

yup i have tried them... you can search on another site and you will see they have a very good rep. Remember they provide money back option so if you dont like the cable for any reason they will refund you back in full.
