Hi there,

Have just upgraded my tv from a very old 'silverback' Sony to a Sony KDL-40EX503 and also purchased the Sony BDP-S370.. as I am new to all this technology, I wondered if it was worth me upgrading the HDMI cables?

If so, which ones should I go for??

Thanks for your help!

What HDMI cable do you have at the moment? You might want to try a thatcable HDMI, five stars from WHF and 1.5m comes in at £4.99 delivered. I have three of them, and find them great with my kit. If you find you don't get on with them, you could always upgrade to a slightly more expensive cable later, without much loss of cash...

Don't waste £40 on a cable for a £120 Blu ray player. I have a 5* chord cable and neither I nor anyone else can tell the difference between that and my freebie cables.
