After spending £150 on HDMI cables of good quality (and 3D ready)It would be such a waste if i lost picture quality having to use one. :-(

Hi Dave. If you have already bought your cables and are set on keeping them, would it be possible to 'chase' them into the wall by chopping a trench for the cables to sit in?

Cliff.

+1 on that - a pretty pragmatic solution, that should sort your problem.

If that's not possible, you could always get a deeper wall mounting, with more space behind it.

This one claims to be 1.3 & 1.4 compatible Clicky so pesumably 3D will work & audio return. I have not tried it so cannot recommend but £6 ish is a lot cheaper, less time consuming overall & doesnt involve chasing walls.

Good luck on whatever you decide.

Although I have not bought the 90 degree adaptor I have bought some very long runs of HDMI cable from them. It was very well priced and works perfectly.

Thx F1only, used your link and purchased the right angled adapter, which IS 1.4 compatible.Theres no noticable difference in quality either.
Money well spent!
thx again!
