HDMI computer to TV no sound

Use an Acer laptop with windows 10 to usually watch movies and TV shows on my LG tv via HDMI but after many days of usage I now have no sound. All works fine on other TV's in the house but using different cables and different HDMI slots on the TV still get no sound when computer is attached.

TV is my main audio external source and my TV speakers are on?

Any ideas.

some times windows selects the attached TV by default. Sometimes you may need to manually do it. Go to control panel, then select sound, and make sure your LG is selected as the sound output. If still no luck, try restarting windows after that.
