Toshiba didn't supply us with one, but it's about to be replaced by these new players.
It's a slightly upgraded version of the Tosh's first HD DVD player we reviewed in the Feb issue - not that impressed, and the spec can be far bettered.
If it was my money, i'd wait for these new versions to come out (and the new Blu-ray and hybrid decks) over the next month or so - I predict a pre-Christmas price war that'll see full-specced machines at great prices....
I've just got the ep10 a few weeks ago, bit of a bargain at only £90 on ebay and immaculate, have to say the performance is fantastic, but have yet to get the new firmware upgrade sorted.
Okay so the HD format war appears to sorted, but for such a mininal outlay i've got the best quality in the Matrix and Bourne (two of my fave trilogies), so i'm a happy bunny!!
