HD decoding

As there is still no sign of the NAD T-175 HD will using a Panasonic DMP BD80 (using the 7 channel output) give a better sound than using my NAD T-163 to decode standard DTS/Dolby?

Player + cables will come to £450 ish

but I could get a Rotel RSP 1070 for £1400 (will this give a better sound)?

Yes, getting the Blu-Ray player to decode the HD audio soundtracks and output over the multichannel outs should definitely sound better than the standard Dolby Digital / DTS formats through optical.ÿ
