Have you found WhatHifi to be a good buying guide over the years?

Must’ve started reading the magazine about 20 years ago and have always found it be an excellent buying guide. I have bought many products based on WHFi reviews and have never been disappointed.

So long as you remember that all their reviews are subjective (NOT factual) then yes, it has been pretty decent overall.

Yes, read it regularly from when it first came out.
Found it to be a handy guide for price and product dimensions and as a rough guide for reviews (once you allow for their over- enthusiasm).

Though the more it's strayed from hi-fi audio, the more I've strayed from it.

I personally don’t read the mag now, just post on and read the website.

If there wasn’t a website with up to date reviews, then sure I would go back to buying the mag again though, I just don’t think you need to do both.

I get What Hi-Fi, Hi-Fi Choice and Home Cinema Choice free on a library app. 😊

Yes, I always see what "What Hi-Fi's" opinion is and others before buying anything. It's definitely a great help when choosing equipment and reassuring to know what their thoughts are before taking the plunge so to speak.
