Has my Leema Pulse MkII peaked with current speakers?

I have it paired up with some Dynaudio Excite X-12's playing music using my computer through a Logitech squeezebox touch which is fed into a burson audio buffer then into the amp. I really do enjoy the sound I get but the speakers struggle in our large apartment. I want to maintain a sound thats fun and non-fatiguing (not too bright) I have asked before if the amp is capable of moving up the Dynaudio range say to the Focus 160's, but will even consider floor standing. Testing is nigh impossible, if I am to buy again I want it to be a decent upgrade, does anyone have any suggestions of speakers I may be able to look at to give me the bigger sound I want. Would the amp run say a pair of Proac D18's? Could that give me a sound I am after, or again amd I asking too much from the amp? other alternatives?

Can't say about the Dyns. Like any amp the Leema will have its limitations, and apart from trying another pair further up the chain it's tricky to assess. The Leema certainly works well with Totem, but TBH I've only heard the Arro (86db) and has no problems. So perhaps try the Sttafs (http://totemacoustic.com/en/hi-fi/columns/sttaf/)that retail, I believe, around the £1800-£1900 mark. If anything like the Arros the Leema will purr. Otherwise look at the new PMC 20 series or GB1is.

I did toy with concept of maybe looking at MAs Platinum range, but that will (probably) be an overkill.

No idea about ProAcs.

Edit - Worth looking at these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Leema-Acoustics-Xone-Main-Stereo-Speakers-/330707622075?pt=UK_AudioVideoElectronics_HomeAudioHiFi_HiFiSpeakers&hash=item4cffb5d8bb

They did originally retail around £1700 mark.

Totally agree about the PMC 20`s .Fantastic speakers.

About floorstanders, you may want to take a look at those too :
