Has anyone got the Pioneer BDP-71 Blu-Ray ?

If you have seen it's DVD performance I would like to know if it is worth the price tag to improve my DVD collection running on my Projector

Check out the review in the reviews section hope it helps, i have seen it in action and is a stunning player, but then i do like pioneer gear, mines on order.

Thanks. When are you getting the player? If you get a chance when you have used it please post about it's DVD upscaling abilities in particular.

Although I can't give you a full techie review - I can say that this player coupled with our Pioneer 4280 playing Sunshine and the new Wanted DVD's looked spectacular. No noise was present, colour's are vivid, yet natural and full silky smooth being upscaled to 1080p.

Quite honestly it's one of the best standard DVD palyers I've experienced... But then I haven't seen any other high end BD/DVD players in action...
