Anyone else following the "clipping" discussion with Alan Shaw on the Harbeth site? It's fascinating and has evolved into a primer on clipping, amps and modern recording techniques. Thanks for the link. Fascinating to see how (or if) this will conclude. Will AS have to admit that amp performance is a more common limiting factor in hi-fi than he's previously done?

That seems to be a distinct possibility doesn't it? It's interesting that he appears to be deliberately allowing the conversation to go in that direction. Stay tuned!
