Grrr. Cannot make first post here with new iPhone.

Almost got iPhone set up as remote to iTunes on iMac 20" but grouchy youngest daughter did not want to do any more than enter the 4 digit code in device preferences.

I need to set a firewall exception on the iMac but only food or money will shift her off the machine.

I will do that bit later.

(She is a bit miffed that the first iPhone in the house is mine and not hers.)

All sorted now. (Port 3689 and xxxxx's iTunes in 'sharing' then Firewall)

Works great but iTunes has to be up already which is a bit daft. (Thought I could start up iTunes remotely as well.)

Currently downloading more apps (National Gallery's "Love Art" 204mb and Google Earth) and looking for other interesting stuff.
