I first heard of him for the song I'll be holding on which he sang in Black Rain. A great song for a great movie.

Chris Cornell was last week but the funeral was this week.

Gregg had been ill for years and had a liver transport quite a few years ago. That is a fammily that has had more than it's fair share of adversity.

I'm not totally sure what you mean there but all I was suggesting is that it is another shitty week for music. So what if Cornell was last week when the music they created was ageless.

One of the best live albums of all times.

I also remember receiving Laid Back (solo album) as a birthday present way back in 1974. I particularly liked 'These Days', the classic Jackson Brown song. Give it a listen; it's poignant.
