Greatest:- pretty much every pair of Sonus fabers I've ever heard, plus a few panel speakers like Martin Logans and Apogees. And many years ago I was wowed by Dalhquist DQ10s, which looked like Quad ESL57s but were a motley collection of dynamic drivers - probably sounded great as they were driven by the first MC cartridge I ever hesrd, the Supex 900.
Worst:- relative to their reputation, Linn Kans and the KEF 104ab would be amongst them, though would be intrigued to hear them with better amps than they were connected to at the time (the 1980's). Latterly, anything connected to a computer or TV, but then that isn't really hi-fi is it?
[Sounding like an old fart today!]
