Hello guys,

Recently have purchased the Q-Accustics 1010i 5.1 speaker package, and the Q-A 1030i floorstanders, and im spinning my ray's' (lol) from a Sony BDP S370. The problem im having is which amp shall i get to partner with these speakers..... there's so many good ones about Sony 800, 810, Onkyo 608..... Whats the Onky 578 like, is the 608 worth the extra premium??? Will the Q's partner well with them??? im using the 1030i's at the front left and right, obviously the centre in the centre, and the 4 remaining 1010's as the side and rear surrounds, 7.1 is a 100% must have for me..... budget... £300-£450... I'm just lost at which amp to buy, this will be 100% for Blu-rays, so stereo is not a problem.

HELP ME PLEASE!!!

TIA

Foxor-

Samsung 50" Plasma (720p) Q-Accustitcs 1030i's F-LR 1010i's SS,RS, Sony BDP s370

Foxorroxors,

Get the Onkyo TX-SR608 if you want 3D for the future. Other 3D amps to consider would be the Yamaha RX-V667 or Pioneer VSX-920.

Non 3D - Denon AVR-1910, Onkyo TX-SR607, Denon AVR-2310 (slightly above your budget but well worth it!)

I have owned the Q Acoustics which ran through an Onkyo 606 and it was very good. Depends on the type of sound that you prefer, really.
