Good replacement for the KEF 1005 sub?

I am looking to replace the sub to my KEF 1005 system, which has developed a fault. My research has informed me there is a common fault with this model, so I think it best to change the sub to avoid the problem recurring.

Could anyone recommend a sensibly-priced sub to pair with the KEF 1005 eggs? It would be paired with a new receiver such as the Denon 2113 or Sony STRDN1030.

Many thanks.

You could also look at the new SVS PB1000 or SB1000. The SB1000 is a sealed box using a 12" driver and a 300w amp. The PB1000 uses the same amp, but in a larger, ported box, using a 10" driver. These are scaled down, more budget versions of the SB12 and SB12NSD.

To be clear, it is the PSW 1000.2 sub that is being replaced.
