good av rack for meridian f80?

im getting unwanted colouring in voices and other slight distorions when i place my f80 on a table and even on my atacama nexus speaker stands but i seem to be getting a perfect result when i place the f80 on my dad's alphason av stand but obviousley i cant nick that for myself so basically what should i go for? i was thinking along the lines of Audiophilebase StarBase or Custom Design Concept AV,

im getting it listening to cd's. its definatly not a flaw in the f80 because im listening to it now on the alphason stand and it sounds fine although the wooden floors are'nt helping sound quality.

Sounds like the f80 is seriously prone to vibration! It's been a long time since I bought a rack but I always hated metal - very often it just rings like a bell and makes matters worse. I would be leaning toward materials such as wood and perspex/acrylic.
