going back to one amp?

i'm on the budget end of the market and using a marantz setup. i've got a pm4001 ose stereo amp for music with cd 5400 ose cd player. the amp runs the front speakers in my 5.1 setup. question is would a denon avr 1910/1911 or maybe the pioneer vsx 920 be a reasonable stereo replacement for my 2 amp setup and go back to 1 amp for everything - a hub.
