I have purchased two discs now and notice audio distortion in scene 16 as the crowd cheers and the orchestra comes in it crackles with static. I have played it on a p.c. too and same thing happens anyone else had this or noticed it. my discs were bought from two different stores.

Are you sure it's not a fire burning? In gladiator there are lots of wood burning and not sort of stuff.

At the begining ie in the first trailor the Universal bit at the begining of the Mummy 3 I though the sound was a bit crackly.

Anyone experience that?
