Getting the best deal for HD & 3D content

I am the proud new owner of a Samsung series 8 telly. The telly allows me to view BBC HD ITV CH4 and BBC 1 HD in Freeview . There are a number of trial 3d programmes available via the smart cube, but these depend on a. Fast Internet connection and my orange broad band doesn't stack up. How can I get more content in HD / 3D? Is an upgrade from Sky plus to Sky plus Hd with the £10 per month fee the only way? Does the Sky hd box automatically include 3D content?

i have the sky plus hd box and yes it has its own 3D channel and if you pay the £10 extra for the hd pack you get up to 55 hd channels dependent on your sudscription i dont know if you are a formula 1 fan but you will get skys f1 hd channel free if you have the hd pack hope this helps 🙂

No.

You have to be a Sky World subscriber (i.e the full package) to get Sky 3D, and even then a lot of the content shown on Sky 3D is PPV.

Thanks, I expected there would be a catch with Sky. It is the one thing you can rely on with them!

But then the content you do get with sky on the 3d channel can be breathtaking........you always get what you pay for. 🙂
