Geneva Model Cinema vs Sonos Playbar

Following on from the review of the Geneva Labs Model Cinema Soundbase and the critism of the lack of 5.1 using 2 x play 1s & Playbar (my orginal plan) does anyone have any real experience of the geneva soundbase? I Have a 42inch Panasonic and a glass stand, so I guess this might limit the bass? Also planning Play 3s in the lounge & conservatory so Sonos has edge but............ As both Playbar & Geneva are similar price.

I would really be grateful for some advice.

Hi Pete, did you ever get to hear the Geneva?

Just a friendly bump to this question. I have auditioned the Sonos Playbar and was not hugely impressed. The sound was weighty but a little too veiled for my tastes. I understand the Sub may improve matters but that stretches the budget too far and I'm not looking to build a sonos system, really.

The Geneva is not in stores for a demo so I would be really interested if anybody has one and can give some honest feedback. Just a few very positive pro reviews and very little user feedback on the Model Cinema.
