Does anyone know what this fixes/improves/adds? There's no info on the Panasonic website other than the download itself.

Did the firmware update.

First BR disk (Football Factory) played poorly, with some stuttering of playback. Will watch another movie and report back whether it was disk or player specfic.

Anyone else got issues post-update?

Never noticed anything, website normally just says BD-V Playability which doesn't help but upgrade is easy and doesn't cause a problem so might as well do, but I worked in IT so upgrading etc. doesn't bother me at all.

Don't know really. Nothing noticeable. The player has always been fine.

My update is that that firmware is fine - it was a bung disc (Football Factory) that caused the issues.

Otherwise, have no idea what the improvements are!

Any idea why Panny is stuck on 1.3?

Ive tried hooking up direct to my ethernet, no joy says update not avaiable.

download and burnt image to disk, doesn`t update player

Any ideas?
