Can i ask those of you that have front firing subs, how many people face them towards the wall away from them where they sit. Some people say that there can be a tighter base. Any views or opions appreciated or even anyone that does this...many thanks.

Should be fine, though you may get more boom due to wall reflections. And of course you should change the phase of the sub if you use it pointing into the wall.

I have two MK-350 subs and yesterday i moved one from one side of the room and stacked it on top of the other (the manual even recomends this). They are now in the corner next to the left stereo speaker and if i pointed them into the room they would be difficult to adjust and even turn off and the fact that the things are quite heavy. The sound is a lot more powerful from when the other sub was next to the right stereo speaker (not in a corner), even the anti-mode 8033 was having difficulty bringing that one in.
