Freeview box and pvr required

I am after a freeview box with a built in pvr. Two tuners would be good but one is ok. Hard drive doesnt have to be massive as long as i have around 30 hours minimum. Doesnt need to be hdmi as it is working with a CRT portable. One thing it must be though is small, the smaller the better. What hifi have jsut reviewed the Tvonics DTR-FP2500 and that looks dinky. Does anybody have the dimensions, their website amazingly doesnt have them on. Is there anything similar that i could go for as an alternative. Freeview+ is a must btw.

Just be aware that when HD is released on Freeview you'll need a new box if you want the HD transmissions. So buying a combined box at this moment in time could be a bad decision.

Thankd for that i didnt realise that was coming. We do have HD in the living room and would only ever have a small portable in the bedroom so i dont think it would be too much of an issue. I dont really intend to replace the upstaris tv for many years as we dont use it that much.

Certainly the smallest we've tested that are any good, and include a hard-drive of that capacity. It's a great PVR...

Hi Clare,

I was looking around for the TVonics DTR-FP2500, and I was a little concerned that the picture used in the review appears on the TVonics website against the Z500 rather than the FP2500.

I can think of a few legitimate reasons for this, but also a potential misdirection. Can you clarify the situation, please?
