can anyone please help. Im thinking of getting a tv mainly for gaming via a ps3 and blu- ray viewing. I have a budget of £600. I have read reviews and my shortlist seems to be sony 32kdld3000, pan tx 32lmd70, pan 32lxd700 or a plasma 37 px80?

Which would be best for ps3 use on games and blu- ray. Again these sets seem dated now and are not full hd. Would this matter considering the size ( mainly plasma)

Can anyone help or suggest anything else......Samsung or phillips?

Go for the Panasonic TH37PX80 - it may not be Full HD, but is more than happy with a 1080p/24fps signal and offers the very best performance at that price. It'll be a fantastic pairing for your PS3.

You'll get the warranty at any Panasonic Dealer as long as you buy instore. Got my px80 for 585 quid and 5 year warranty. It's great and worth a lot more than I paid !!

Have a look at the Sharp LC-32X20E, its 1080p and has a great games mode and it handles 24fps ______________________________________________________________________________________________ Sharp AQUOS LC-32X20E outstrips Toshiba, Philips, LG and Panasonic in the MacFormat review of 32-in LCD TV widescreen wonders and is awarded a five star winner. ______________________________________________________________________________________________ Sharp LC-32X20E: There's no shortage of competition when it comes to the popular 32in TV screen size, so to stand out from the crowd you need to be special. Enter Sharp's £900 Full HD LC-32X20E Aquos. It's ideal for the space-challenged Blu-ray fan, and its Game Mode, which boosts response time to banish blur, is a real incentive for gamers. We loved both its picture performance and its design. A worthy winner! ______________________________________________________________________________________________ hope this is helpfull, PS I have not seen the panasonic but it should be very good
Did you get it for £585 at a Panasonic dealer?
Yes. Premier AV,who sell all tv types, sold me it at their T'interweb rate in store. You then post off a supplied form and Panasonic send you a 5 year warranty. Offer lasts until the end of June I think.
