Focal Sopra No1

Contemplating purchasing a pair of Sopra No1 speakers to replace my LS50.

Anyone heard these and especially with Arcam amplification, also wondering if they are better than the Kef Ref 1.

Why such a huge jump? they cost over 7000£ or 10000€

Why not B&W 805 D3,Dali Opticon 2 or Dynaudio Confidence C1 Platinum ?

It's not about the money, The Kef Ref 1 is my main target but I do like Focal, just not heard the Sopra yet.

The LS50's are not a disapointment and do fight above their price range.

Sopra 1's are top speakers and ones which also pair very well with Arcam's A49.

Also check out some other danes Raidho (peter breuninger aprowed, the x1's are one of the cheaper speakers) http://raidho.dk/product-showcase/d-series/ most expensive small speakers are around 15000£

Not sure where you are based but Criterion Audio in Cambridge had the Raidho, KEF and they might have the Focal to demo.

Or Nintronics in Welwyn have the KEF and Focal and they stock Arcam to demo off your exact amp.
