Anybody found a decent upgrade cable for these ? The cable out of the box isn’t great as they’re unwieldy and don’t sit well very (bit curly). Sound is great but still running them in.

Anyone had a good experience with alternative cables ?

I bought mine from https://oidiosound.co.uk is a fine cable, good quality, much more flexible, not microphonic and, had no noticeable effect on sound. This is the one I bought https://oidiosound.co.uk/headphone-cables/focal/mongrel-elear

I’ve had replacement cables from CustomCabs and Cxxnected.

Both good, but of the two, do prefer the latter.

Anyone into making their own cables will really welcome the fact that Focal use 3.5mm jacks at the headphone end - rather than any proprietary connector.
Makes it so much easier than with other brands.

I know (some) people will scoff due to the price differential but, for these headphones, you could make a high quality, flexible, OFC cable - with good quality connectors - in a length of your choice - 'balanced' or SE - for less than £20.
