Actually the software easily made it possible to download FLAC files and get them onto itunes on my imac now i need a quick and simple piece of software to convert again so will go onto the ipod.If you have the answer John would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Sorry, just checked what fluke can and can't do. You're right in that you need to convert the files from flac to something else in order to get them on your iPod (mp3, AAC, Apple Lossless or WAV, namely). I think the best bet for that is Max, though I've never tried to install it myself. Maybe I should, then I could be more helpful

thanks for the tip about max which i have downloaded and am doing as it suggests by dragging files etc but so far i have not seen a flac turned to an mp3 and certainly no flac has magically appeared on my ipod,I am a bit of an idiot when it comes to this type of thing,so i will keep at it and try again,

thanks
