Speakers have arrived today. Been listening to them for a few hours and even not fully run in they are stunning. Sound is detailed and smooth with good punch. They look great in Walnut as well. Just worried what the other half will say when she sees how big they are in comparison to the Bx5s.

Excellent, congrats and yes however good the BX5 may be and I used to have a pair Kefs are a step up. And a great price you got yours at.

i can imagine! Lovely when you get such a big fundamental change and you listen ‘all over again’. I bet you want to play some very big orchestral music to really show the soundstage of them off. You must have the intergrate k3, but can you bi amp with another roksan power amp, adding it later? Would be a good idea at some stage, to take the power up to the top of the kefs stated power handling ability to really get best from them, if you can.
