Floorstanders for Roksan Kandy K2, Arcam CD 192 & Rega Planar 3

I'm after some floorstanders to replace my Tannoy Revolution R3's. I live in Perth, Australia and have up to £1000 to spend.

I think I can get more from the amp and sources although I do like the Tannoys.

Any thoughts?

What options do you have locally Fenton? I think some previous posters who live in Australia have reported difficulty in obtaining some brands. What are you best able to get easily as this will probably play a part in your decision making?

I'd buy local. Simply HiFi have Whatmough, and they're up there with the best, or used to be, anyway.

There seems to be a more than decent choice in Perth, so I'd head out and start listening, starting with the aforesaid Whatmoughs then trying the Paradigms and Dynaudios.
