hi everyone,

i own a pioneer vsx520k 5.1 hifi system which receives through HDMI from the ps3 and the pc and sends to the TV (via hdmi too) so that when i play or watch a film i can use its speakers instead of the TV's. because i'm not fully satisfied with the hifi quality, i wanted to add to this ensemble a bose solo tv or another soundbar (possibly without subwoofer, because there's the pioneer sub already) plus i wanted to connect the tv through an optical cable. so my first question is: do you think it may be a good way to obtain a powerful sound without replacing the hifi ? and second: how am i supposed to connect the pioneer amp to a second system? should i buy an optical switch which doubles my signal from the tv and sends it to both the systems? this because the tv has only the normal jack or the digital output...the others are all inputs i think! so is there a way to bypass this problem?

ps: the signal should be obviously synced between the two units, to obtain a uniform audio

thank you in advance!!
