Finding space for speakers

My system is in the lounge at home. Having bought new furniture I have very little/no room for my Roksan Rok One speakers which sit on Target speaker stands. Spent months listening on headphones but really miss the speakers!

Mate wall mounted speakers any good?

Could I wall mount the Rok Ones or would I be better looking for different speakers etc?

Being front-ported you could try wall mounting them but probably not ideal. Decent wall mount speakers do exist but generally they are not cheap.

Bad planning that furniture buy.... ;-)

If I can find stands with base no more than 6 inches and one metre high so the speakers are above the height of the sofa that would do the job

Any suggestions?

Can't think of any offhand with such a small footprint, the base has to be sufficiently large to give stability.

I agree with the Major. I would not want my speakers that high on a narrow base, not if I wanted them to last that is......
