i don't know why but there are films i have never ever watched. for whatever reason, i've turned over the channel, decided to go to bed, had to go out, could not be bothered !!!! its like my destiny to never see them, not that they are going to be any good. two i can think of i've never seen are 'gone in 60 seconds' and 'fargo'. i even bought 'fargo' on dvd for £3 a month ago, determined to view it and still have not watched it !!!!!!!!! is it just me ?

I bought Schindler's List on DVD about five years ago - it's still in its plastic wrapping!

please, you should really not say Fargo and Gone in Sixty Seconds in the same sentence! Fargo is a brilliant must see film.

Gerrardasnails:Sit down tonight and watch it - one of the best made films ever.

I was out last night, but I will watch it this evening.

daveyjay:You must be one seriously busy chap, Brian123, if you haven't had time to watch Schindler's List yet - essential viewing.

As a massive film fan, it's a very embarassing thing to admit to.

It's the only film that Spielberg's been involved with that I haven't seen!

i didnt see schindlers list until about a year ago , watched it one sunday night , not really expecting too much , was i wrong , utterly brilliant film , i spent two hours reading up on oscar schindler and the holocaust afterwards , i think i even emailed the film makers to say how moved i was and to thank them for making the film , i never do that kind of thing , the most thought provoking , powerful , humbling film ive ever seen ...

Reading this thread encouraged me to sit down and watch a german film, 'the lives of others,' which has been sitting on my shelf for several months, and I'm glad I did as it's a very good film.

Now all I need to do is find time to watch Red Cliff with a running time of 280mins
