Few CES related questions to WHF team

Congratulations for the great coverage of this year's CES to WHF team!

I have a few questions about some features I am interested at, but were not reported in the news.

So...maybe it's early days, but...did you spot any all-in-one system or Blu-Ray player from big CE manufacturers (Samsung, LG, Sony, Panasonic) that have some or all of the features listed below:

- Decode flac

- Play from NTFS formatted external HDD (including mkv files with DTS HD-MA)

- Have internet radio

- Have headphones out

(I assume best of them now have 2 HDMI in, built-in wifi, wireless rear speakers, auto calibration and proprietary internet platform).

Out of all wishfull features, my greatest interest is in flac playback from ext HDD.

Most of our 'away team' are currently either in transit back from Vegas or in a state of advanced jet-lag. I'm sure there will be an answer when they land/surface.

I haven't gone through all the specs of all the systems yet (even for those of us at CES, it takes some time to absorb the information overload!), but I do clearly remember LG stressing the ability of its 2011 systems to replay files from external hard disks. More info here

Sorry, nothing personal here! Maybe the best way is to wait for the user manuals to appear on the manufacturer's sites hopefully soon...

Sorry that I am awakening this old thead, but is there any new info regarding flac playback from ext HDD in 2011 HTIB systems from Samsung/LG/Sony/Panasonic?

As mentioned on other threads, we won't get that level of detail until we get the UK/European briefings on the 2011 ranges (many products launched at CES don't make it to UK, or have specs altered).

These brand briefings begin later this month and go on into February. You can rest assured we'll have news/blogs from those events as they happen- and before the products go on sale.

So i'm afraid you'll have to be patient!
