You cold Andrew? I trust you will be joining.

Social Netorking sites are all the rage in Marketing circles these days. WHFSAV should have a group.

Doesn't that give you enough reasons to avoid such a dismal fate? Marketing circles??? I'd rather listen to a box set of Bon Jovi B-sides or a Snow Patrol triple live album!!!

Yes, tend to avoid marketing circles, as they just go round and round and round.

Oh and social networking sites.

But then I'm not a) female or b) 12.

Yes I can see that[quote user="Andrew Everard"]

Yes she wouldn't be the prettiest little girl in the world would she!

I have 1,500 friends on Facebook, yet when I invited them all to a barbeque, no-one came and all the burgers went off *sniff*

My mouse did hover over the 'join this group' link, but then I decided I don't agree with the group's ethos - I don't love hi-fi equipment, I love how the good stuff makes my music sound

I can see the headline in The Sun tomorrow.

WHFSAV Editor In Chief in 'I don't like HiFi shock'

I am inclined not to want to joing anything that is all the rage in marketing circles.Marketing being a rather mendacious industry. i will probably feel compelled to have a look though.

Well, a means to an end. I prefer listening rather than wittering, but with no hifi (at whatever level - from a lowly £20 mp3 player to a £100k system), there is no music...

And I'm not a musician, so find myself a little out of depth when talking to music forums... at least here I can hold my own (so to speak)...

Oh, while I think about it (and completely OT), I've just had a mail back from Unity Audio about their lovely ADAM HM2 speakers. At the show, I was quoted £650. Turns out that price was each, not for a pair... ah well, back to the drawing board.
Any suggestions on best speakers £4-600 (per pair)? 😉

My mouse hovered over the 'ethos' of the group, and nearly changed it to 'the sound of music on hifi equipment. But that's not completely true. Most people here love hifi per se, and me changing it would have meant changing the marketing of the group...

Try audiologica.co.uk and see if they have any ex demo Dali Ikon 6 for £650.

Look forward to you all joining, Clare, Andrea E, Fraziel et al

Ahh man, why Facebook? Myspace is much hipper, that's where all the cool kids are at.

Ah, but do you really LOVE it? Bet you'd drop everything you 'loved' if something that sounded/looked better came along
