F connectors

I bought some F-connectors to add another run of [style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial,sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"]Webro twin 63-008a cable to my dish however the internal diameter of the connector is too large and they won't screw on tight - my fault as I thought connectors were the same size. I read that you can make the cable diameter wider by putting tape around the cable before bending the wire braid back. Is this approach OK or am I better off buying the correct size connectors?[/style]

Buy the proper connectors. I hope it's a shortish cable run (less than 15 -20m) if you're using CT63/WF65 otherwise you may have issues with signal loss.
