Exchange my 5090h??

Hi, i purchased new 5090h from sevonoaks last week, Then friday i noticed a line in the screen, SS have informed me via pioneer that it is a screen crack and so will exchange with their last one in shop,

My problem is when they sold me this one they said its the one they would choose to have between 5090 and 5090h

Problem now is they can replace my screen or replace tv but with a 5090,

What is the main advantage of my set over 5090

Should i have screen replaced or new tv

Please help as they have tv on hold in shop whilst i make mind up

not that familier with the differences but i would insist in a new replacement. you could be waiting for ages to get a repair done ,and it may never feel right...

The H version is actually a European one, which has a euro satellite receiver built in, which can be used if you know what you're doing. Also, I believe the menu system is a little different.

Pioneer started importing European ones into the country to fulfill demand when the 5090's started to run out.

They say cause is just a fault, I have been on to ssav saying i want replace not repair but they can not source 5090h anywhere, I have now said find me a 500a sim spec but they say how can they replace when short on stock?

Does anyone know of in stock of 5090h anywhere, i will go for refund if rqd,ssav didnt like it when i mentioned it, I have had tv for 5 days!!!

Hooray

ssav have found a new 5090h for a replacement, Should have it in store for thursday, I did find 1 in yeovil ssav but stores are not linked so couldnt just swap, But it shows there are still a couple left on the shelfs.

Fair play to ssav they were going to refund so i could buy yeovils, Just asked for me to give them to 5.00pm.

They rang me 4.30pm to give me the good news,

I did mention to them if they had a 600a i would be happy to split difference and go for one,

They didnt have one, Shame tho,
