I'm a big fan of Eversolo, hopefully they'll start to compete in the low end with WiiM.

On the subject of sharing news information, I get it, I do the same 🙂
I use to have much more enthusiasm on WHF with my sharing, sometimes you feel you have been teleported into the show, BBC One - The Grumpy Old Men. I guess it's the classic British cynicism for anything new.
I would say break it to them gently with some sugar coating 🤣 😏

I truly love the concept, imagine, CD(SACD?) player, streamer and amplification and pre-amp MM/MC phono stage. The ability to play your FLAC/DSD files from local storage or NAS. All in one solution, hopefully comes at a sensible price.


I also like the look of the Z10 DAC, do I want to upgrade my Z8, hmmm maybe in a few years when it will be discounted or brought secondhand from eBay.
Whatever happened to Z9?



The pure transport in Chinese speak isn't a CD mechanism, though I could be wrong.
It's what I have Vovofox (also FPGA DAC and media play) and JF MX-Pro, it stores your music files and links to your external DAC/Streamer.
I suspect it'll cost a lot. I like the big display panel, always good for viewing your albums.

I just noticed the Z10 has R2R, in the blurb there's mention of an AKM chipset. This is interesting, is it both ladder and chipset DAC?
I'm sure more details will emerge, hopefully put this to bed.

Probably like the LAIVs and if I'm correct even the Fiios. They're not true R2R, because the topology does not allow for upsampling, so these are hybrids, probably has circuitry that behaves like R2R, and allows/reroutes for upsampling when selected.
