I noticed the tick against the WiFi setting to be coffee coloured, but can’t see any reference to what that means.
I believe a green tick, which may happen with an Ethernet connection is favourable.
Anyone know anything more about this quandary?

What does the handbook/manual tell you?

Is it working ok on your home network?

Unfortunately I don’t recall getting a manual with the device, it is working, but as mentioned, a coffee coloured tick, I was told it should be green.
I had a stroke recently, so doing anything is twice as difficult especially as only one side of me is working.

Check below link for the Eversolo DMP-A6 manual, I hope this helps? See below .

Eversolo WiFi has two options for stronger signal 5G and 2.5G if you're operating from a greater distance. I haven't read through the manual, do you think the coffee coloured is referenced to the signal strength?

Exactly, when you get a new piece of kit it's a good idea to download the manual.

Crumbs, sorry to read that. I actually looked on the Eversolo site after replying and found a manual, which had no explanation other than mentioning a signal strength indicator. Nothing about colours, or what to look for.

Put simply, most devices like this have no Wi-Fi strength meters - they either work or not. If the signal is marginal it will drop out and the music simply stops or stutters. If it’s working then I’d not worry about it.

Happy new year.
