Epos M5 upgrade from Monitor Audio BR2 ?

I can by a good priced set of Epos M5. Right now i play with Monitor Audio BR2's. Would this be an upgrade or a sidestep? What can i expect from the Epos in sound chracteristics and diffrences with the Monitor Audio's?

My setup:

cd Marantz CD6000 OSE tube output stage by Heart

amp Marantz PM66KI

interlink Van the Hul the Well

speakercable QED silver anniversery

I'd say it's an upgrade, not the hugest upgrade but still a coupla rungs up the ol' endless ladder.
What can you expect? Better everything, imaging and mid-high clarity will be most improved imo.
Less bass but what you'll have won't be sloppy.

Agreed. They''ll be a step up, but not a mind-blowingly big one. They're lovely speakers though.

Sounds like a worthy upgrade because with selling the BR2 i can reduce the investment needed to a estimated 50 eur.

Forgot to mention i have a self built subwoofer (adire dpl12/pr15 combo with hypex 4.0) to add the lowest frequencies
